Yesterday (Sunday) , newspapers carried reports about a terminally ill girl who wanted to meet actor NTR. Maheeba, who hails from Khammam, is very fond of NTR and she expressed her desire to meet the actor during a press conference that was held on Saturday. She has been fighting cancer for the last few years.
The news reached NTR and just when he was making arrangements to go and meet her, another news followed. Maheeba had passed away quite unexpectedly in the early hours of Monday, just two days after the press meet.
NTR took to Twitter, to express his sadness about Maheeba’s death. “Just when I came to know that maheeba’s last wish was to see me.another news follows that she is no more.I wish I could fulfill her last wish.may her soul rest in peace.strength to the family”, he tweeted.
Telugu Cinema’s biggest stars have been reacting very positively to such requests lately. Sadly, Maheeba did not get enough time to realise her dream.
