Director Sukumar has the knack of thinking out of the box and sometimes his ideas could go entirely wrong. We have seen his experiment with Mahesh Babu bombing big time at the box office. Despite the failure of 1 Nenokkadine, Sukumar got a call from Young Tiger NTR to get a script ready for him.
Sukumar thought of doing a romantic film with NTR which is against the actor's image. NTR liked the idea of Sukumar, but looks like the director has dropped it. Sukumar is not going to experiment with NTR's image. Instead he will be doing an out and out commercial entertainer with him.
This is going to be NTR's next film after Puri Jagan's movie. Sukumar will do a commercial entertainer in his inimitable style. Sukumar doesn't want to take a risk by doing something unconventional. He wants to deliver a big hit this time.
